....I mean how hard would it be to pull on an island & Fry or Blacken several SPOTS fry a tater and heat up a can-o-beans...dang Booger you is make'n me hungry.

And yes Yellow Perch about 12" long is about the finest fish I ever had...used to run into them in the winter w/ a spoon...is the big white perch[blu-gums] good??..

At Lake Russell and it was the Georgia Rabbit Daddy. Haven't seen the SC Rabbit in a long time.

I just wish they would restock like they did 25 years ago. The only thing they want to stock these days are; Grass Carp, Trout, Strippers, Hy-Breds.

Hey Monk would let me only eat the Itty-Bitty ones and he would throw the big ones back, but with the new rule the Itty-Bitty go back and the BIG ONES Go To GREASE, NO MORE RELEASE on BIG ONES, unless it be Release to PAN.
Once wife get cooked, then I will attack them with GOD given Knife and Fork. Or as Cave man call them HANDS. Tator in Left and BASS Fillet in Right and eat all night.

Then one day when them Itty-Bitty ones grow-up, I will place them in Right Hand and to the Pan.

Hey when BASS all gone then I eat Grass Crap, Man Gonna EAT or Him DIE!

It's not a matter of "IF" they stick with the 14" rule. It's already "stuck" and only getting..."stickier?" You know what I mean. There will be more lakes that will have the 14" size limit enforced with in the next few years, count on it.

I too agree that this size increase is a good thing...but like Jojo said, it should've been done years ago. I also like the fact that they lowered the daily keep limit.

I like to eat fish as well, but two things come to mind...1) smaller fish tend to taste better than bigger fish, at least in freshwater....and 2) there are far better tasting fish in freshwater than bass, that's for damn sure. Yellow perch, bream, crappie, catfish...just to name a few. But hey, as long as the regulations, rules, and laws are being followed, to each his own.

Well was just placing the blade to the small ones, but I will be putting the grease to those over 14" if they stick with the rule.

An 8 pounder will feed a bunch.

Murray already has an 8" size limit for crappie.

Boog, it has more to do with $ than it does eating fish or tournament weights.

Like it or not...Good, bad, or indifferent, people come from all acrossed the country to fish places like Guntersville, Falcon, Amistad, the California Delta, Clear Lake, and Erie because of the quality (size) of the fish, not the taste or flavor or the fish.

Went up to Fishing Creek yesterday and flat out killed um! Maybe caught 20 and had another 7 or 8 bites...frogs, buzzbait and crankbait...I got most of the 6 pounder on video...only missed the strike...I'll post that video Friday afternoon on the CATT page on Facebook...

wt's 90-91 good turnouts and some showers late in the evening. Took 10.7 to win
and 9.5 was 2nd. BF was 5. Bite was slow and tough for everyone...worms in brush caught most of the fish. 6:30-12:30

I see more dead fish floating around.
The Goobers that fish a Carolina Rig and that let a fish swallow the bait before they set the hook.
Gonna be a bunch of small fish floating that would be headed to grease.
Oh well, I guess that is why they make the big bucks and are looking at Tournament weights and not those that eat fish.

Eat more Fish and save the Chicken!
