Fished from 10:30 to 6:15. Launched at Hurricane Creek ramp. Stayed in the creek the ramp is in for about an hour. 3 Frog fish, 1 chugger fish. Nothing bigger than 1.5. Fished bank out to point then down stream. I thought front DF was malfunctioning because the screen was turning black from 29 to 32 feet deep. Bait ALL OVER the place. Lots of big arches also. Tried couple of things butno hook ups.
Entered the creek across the way. Fished ALL the way in. 3 chugger fish, 1 possibly went 2#. 1 frog fish, 13 in.
Ended day all the way up 26 Mile. 3 fish on 3/8 oz. War Eagle SB. Dbl Willow silver/gold white skirt, 2 chugger fish.
WT 70-72 light stain up and in creeks. Clear down in main.
Backseater broke off a fish on hookset flipping a tube bait in creek #2. 20# Big Game. I think line had a fray spo but still prolly big fish of he day.
GREAT day to be on the water. No humidity
Could have walked back to ramp on the bait schools showing but nothing bothering them that we could tell.Dinner bell probably rang about 7:30
