Please come out and support the USC Upstate bass fishing team by fishing in a benefit tournament Sat. Feb. 19th at Lake Hartwell. This is a team tournament with a 5 fish limit. All proceeds go direct to the club to assist with travel expenses. We are in desperate need of funds. Last month we went to Lake Okeechobee and had to sleep in the car because we could not afford a hotel room. The school does not help us with any funding, so everyone PLEASE come out for a great day of fishing and support a great cause. THANK YOU!

Landing: Broyles landing
Registration: 6 am
Fee: $100 per boat/ $10 big fish (optional)
Pay out: %80 of entry fee to be paid out 1st – 5th place
%100 of big fish pot

Great, 3 tournaments going out of Broyel's on Saturday the 19th and I believe there is 2 others on hartwell that I know of.
If there's anybody that still doesn't undestand why the turn outs for these tournaments is low you might want to just look around.

Jiminportbass: I don't see any need for sarcasm, the Clemson Fishing team has had many successful fundraisers and we now have enough funds in our account to help cover most of our travel expenses. If we try to hold an open tournament outside of the "strong" fishing seasons, we will also have trouble getting good turnouts. A simple "look into another weekend" would have sufficed.

Coates: If yalls club needs some help with scheduling a fundraiser we can help with making sure you get a good weekend that doesn't have too many other tournaments going on the same day....

stop complaining about all the tournaments, the more the better and more fishing, atleast these kids are trying and not on the streets with drugs like most others.
