Does anyone fish blade runners on hartwell and if so do they produce.What kind of cover do you target with these baits and what do you use for a skirt or do you tip it with a trailor ive heard so many variations and talk of these i wonder if i need to add it to my arsenol of self inflicted projects any help would be greatfully appreciated.

I use them on every lake on the Savanah River Chain. They catch LM but they are deadly for spots. I fish the areas where I know / think - there are schooling spots - points/ bluffs/ humps. I have been aggressive enough throw near wood - it usually procduces some fish - but also a snag. Experimented with making my own weed gaurds with moderate success. I generaly put plastic on there -pretty much anything that you would put on a doodle rig or DS.
