Hey I was just wondering if someone would tell me a general area to crappy fish on Hartwell. I would love to take my dad cause he don't get out much, but I don't want to go into it blind.

Well I thought I would post that my Dad and son wore me out Sat. We got 26 crappy and one 5 lb Bass.

They have been on the bank for a few weeks. Go in the back of any creek and look for brush in less than five feet of water. Small Minnows or tiny jigs under a cork are the easiest way to catch them. I caught eighteen on Fri.(jig) and was intending to bass fish. Caught another fifteen or so on Sunday (minnows and jigs) and it was slow. Know some guys who are loading the boat, and have been since early January. I caught them better in Jan & Feb, but it just might be my bass distraction. Better hurry it feels like all the big ones have already made their move with the early spring. They didn't wait for the Dogwoods this year. Good Luck!
