Not much to report today. I put in at Martins Creek and fished around Twin Lakes and up Martins Creek. Only got two hits all day and missed both of them. The day started out pretty good but then I got one of those phone calls you hate to get. A good friend of mines wife passed away this morning. They found out in November she had bone cancer. So if you don't mind say a prayer for the family. I know ChampionMan and Peanutman know who I'm talking about. His name is David Garland. CM worked on his boat about a year ago. Peanutman fished with us in our club 2 years ago. David was my partner when we was fishing in the club. After that call the fishing just wasn't important. Just spent some time on the water. It is amazing how peaceful it is out there. David is a cheif operator at the water plant were myself and Hoss works. Maybe I'll have something to report Friday about the fish. I'm not sure if I'll make the TX sat or not. The funeral will be sometime Sat. afternoon.

Sorry you didn't do any good fishing and really sorry to hear about your friends wife. That is never a good call to get fishing or not.

Sorry I forgot to post the temp. 1st thing this morning it was 49.3 to 49.5 in places. When I left about 1:30 I was fishing a sunny part of the lake around rocks and it was 51.3. Hope this helps. The two bites I did get came on a spinnerbait.
