phoneman and i fished the chicken salad trail last night again. it was really slow, we got 6 lm in the boat and 5 strippers. the water was like glass and thats not real good for the tw bite, although we had 4 tw fish (countless blow-ups) and 2 crig fish. all the stippers were caught on top. same pattern as last week points and humps on the main lake.
first place had 2 excellent fish 1 over 5 and the other was over 6 (lets see those keepaway boys contend with those two fish this time of year) with a total wieght of 16 1/2# (4 fish). 2nd went to 2hitter & myself with 13 1/2#, 3rd went to chris and partner with 11 1/2#, then came alqwaholic and mixedupman (goes by stratosman but owns a champion???) in 4th with 11 1/4# (pushing bitties...LOL!!).
