I took an afternoon visit to Jocassee on Saturday and had limited success. I picked up one about 3-4 lbs and had him to the boat and tried to jerk him into the boat but the line snapped at I suspect a knot or knick in the line. PHOOOEY... After retying I hooked up on a tree limb sticking out of the water so took the boat over to the bank to release it and was amazed at the number of bass we moved off the bank. At about 7pm picked up another that went 6-7 lbs. Both LM... on watermelon Mag2 zoomers.. 1" of the tail dyed green. WT = 79F

Had to buy a license for my NEW partner. No one had one even Hoytes... had to get it at the Park Office in Devils Fork...

Someone suggested later that we could have picked up one on-line easier... Perhaps.

No problem loading the boat if you don't mind a good walk and its up hill. The dock is unusable... water 10 ft away.

One of the 3 ramps are unusable as it doesn't go all the way to the lake.
