I'm expecting to have 20 boats and some really big fish at the scales. There are usually several fish over 6 pounds caught during the April event on Jocassee. We've recorded two fish over 10 pounds in the past 5 years during this event. April is the best time to be on Jocassee.

Just wanted to remind everyone of our only OPEN event on Jocassee this year. It's this Sat and we should have 20+ boats.

Thanks to everyone that came out and fished with us today. We had 26 boats and 16 limits weighed in. There were 4 fish over 6 pounds weighed in.
The results were....
1st place... Harrison / Dupree with 18.25 pounds
2nd place... Strickland / Griffith with 17.14 pounds
3rd place... Hargus / Rhodes with 15.35 pounds
4th place... Maxwell / Maxwell with 14.30 (big fish with 6.71)
5th place... Bogart with 12.94 pounds

Thanks again for coming out. The remainder of our tournaments are closed but if you're interested in fishing them you can join the club for $20. Our next tournament is on Lake Keowee in two weeks.
