We decided to go fish Jocassee on Saturday but made the decision also to NOT put our $$$ into the TX as I have not been on the lake in 2 years nearly. Good plan!!!

There were only 7 boats in it but we probably would have been dead last...

It took a bit over 17 pounds to win it... and Cody had it.. he reported that they were all caught in the first hour of the TX and that would be from 5-6pm..

Another competitor had 11.5 lbs and big fish was 6lb 6 oz...

We only caught 1 smallish bass but we didn't start until 7pm so we missed the first 2 hours when they reportedly were schooling..

If you are interested these TX will run to Aug 12th.. they start at 5pm and last until midnight. $60 per boat... including big fish... 100 % payback.

write me and I will give you Cody's phone number... I didn't ask him if I could post it here so am reluctant to do so now...
