went with some friends last weekend and camped at the state park.....all took kayaks....i took a fly rod.....paddled about 12 miles on sat and about 8 on sunday....water was down about 30 feet by my estimation....still one beautiful lake though....water was crystal clear and i guess about 75 degrees or so.....caught some nice bream on an mayflie imitation.....great weather and great friends...all was good

Its nice out there.. I will tell you though that be sure and have a highly painted and visible boat. I have seen (barely) some in green and its really dangerous. I came in one night in the dark and there were 12 -15 of you guys out on the water without lights... WOW... They were asking for it.

coontie, i aint one of them guys...hehe....i like a key on my boats.....just appeasing the little lady on that trip.....would have had to rent another camping spot if i took my bass boat......anyway, it is a beautiful spot!!!
