Hey guys new to posting here but a long time reader, I got to put my 2 cents n, back in the 80s keowee had a lot of cover and not a lot of pressure, now there is alot of pressure a tourn. every week, and im one of them that is there about every week, the main problem is there is not as much cover shallow as there used to be so we got to fish this lake different than hartwell, and clarkshill and so on. Now about the blue backs I started researching them I had heard this before but im a researcher prove it to myself kind of guy. Blue back herron are open water feeders the only time they come to the bank is to spawn, and guess when that is, water temp starting at 65 thru 75 degrees. They are spawning whenever the LM are guarding fry. And guess what the blue backs will eat and do eat. Thats right fry of any fish that has them at the time. So something to think about instead of argueing and wiping out a fish species which would be impossible without poison. research what needs to happen. And guys come to north carolina in the mnts. if you want to see miss managment, you guys are blessed with lakes with alot of fish and you can put your boats in on concrete and not mud and gravel. Thats my 2 cents worth
