planning on a trip to Keowee around Mid-march, whats the best to throw, Jig, Spoon, a plug with plenty of chartuse/black, spinnerbait, C-rig, shakey head?? just wondering whats best that time of year & color?? Back 15 to 20 yr ago We went and throwed a WeeR chartruse/Black plug & absolutly killed them that day, also a shad rap #9 crawdad color. you guys don't have to give all ur secrets but would like a point inn the rt direction..

A 3/8 spinner bait with two silver blade in mid lake will cath all you want! Hit clay points and islands...

That has been a good time to throw topwater in the upper lake in the past few years. Thats what we do when we get to go that time of year!! If you find the right pocket you can get heavy very quick too!!
