Open
Fishing Tournament
Saturday January 8, 2011 (safelight to 3 pm)
Gap Hill, Lake Keowee
Entry Fee = $120.00 per boat (includes big fish)
(Cash Payback)
$1,500 Guaranteed Cash to Winning Team !
"Limit: 5 fish per boat, 12 inch size limit, LM, SM or Spotted bass.
"Dead fish penalty - .3 lbs
"All live wells will be checked.
"You must not be involved in any other tournaments (that day) to enter.
"All fish must be brought to the scales in a proper tournament bag.
"All live fish should be returned to the water (We encourage catch and release).
"Official time will be given at blast off. Up to 5 minutes late will lose big fish; later than 5 minutes results in disqualification.
"Life-jackets must be worn (with kill-switch attached) when combustion engine is running.
"You are responsible for any ramp fees, accidents (land or water) or any charges other than the entry fee. MEAA affiliation with this event is promotion only.
"Winners subject to polygraph test.
Sign up will be at the ramp from 5:00am thru 6:45 am on the day of the tournament. Pre- registration and entry fees will be taken by Kim Neal (864-260-2110) or Charlie Harbin (864-958-0866). Blast off numbers will be determined by pre-registration first and morning of tournament - second.
You may complete the bottom section of this form and mail with check for $120 to:

hanks to all who braved the wind and cold and in 2 cases, snow in North Carolina.
32 teams braved the 15-25 mph wind and cold. Through our sponsors and your entry fees, Michelin and the American Heart Association cleared $5,765 for cardiac research.
Results were as follows:
1st place - 13.06lbs + big fish of 5.44lbs - Cooper and Wood (collecting $1,800)
2nd place - 11.75lbs - Baxter and Goade
3rd place - 11.42lbs - Tidwell and Tidwell
4th place - 11.21lbs - Knight and Holcombe
5th place - 10.45lbs - Kelly and Green
Next year's tournament will be scheduled for the Saturday after Christmas as usual.
