Went for a while yesterday night on Keowee with spotsticker. We caught between 15 and 20 spotted bass between the two of us. Most were good solid chunks with several 2 1/2 and 3's mixed in. Some where caught on a jig the others came on a modified bladerunner. Also hung into a weird looking carp. i think it was a grass carp.

Those scales on that carp look huge. I seen one like that on Jocassee one night. Good catch on those spots. Good luck Saturday.

Shotcaller, the generic name for that carp is ''Leatherback''. I think it's just a sub species of the common carp.

had a 5lb carp grap a finess jig last year at russell!! Great fight!! i dont mind a bugle mouthed bass everynow and then.
