I don't think it will get as low as last year. We need a tropical storm to hang out in the upstate for a while. The turbines in the river are running pretty hard right now and I don't see them letting up any time soon.

Just looking for an update. Tournament is only a month away but for some reason the ABA doesn't think the lake level is a cause for concern right now. I know those lakes can be dangerous to run at full poll, let alone when it's this far down.
So what do y'all think...is she too low? Plus I'm assuming, without a hurricane, it's only going to get lower.

Moultrie: 71.91
Marion: 71.95
Getting pretty low again, doubt they will cancel the tournament though. We fished last year at 7 ft below full on Marion out of John C Land. I think it is safer to run when it gets lower than it is now. You are pretty sure where you can't run when it gets below 6 ft, now it is really suspect. Some areas look like you are good, but you can get in trouble really quickly. Good luck. Be safe, where your life jacket and kill switch.
