This is my first post on this site.Some of you know me from other sites & some of you know me as a Santee Cooper Lakes bass guide.Last Sat. I went in the afternoon & didn"t have the 1st bite untill 5 pm,but it was a nice 4 lb bass.I fished on beyound sundown & at almost night,Bang,got an 8 lb lip,mover 20 or 30 feet & Bang,got another lip about 6.8 lbs.I went today for a while & got 4 nice bass,but not like last Sat.The water temp was 59 today,but will fall like a brick for the next several days.If we can get 6 or 7 warm days after this next cold spell & the water temp gets into the 60"s,the Santee spawn will start.Inky

have a question for you santee bass me and my two boys had a trip planned in december and we didnt get to make it but they are on spring break the 2nd or 3rd week in april will any of those big santee bass still be spawning then or not? we have never been on santee before but are going to try to plan a trip then. Thanks
