In the grand scheme of things, I think the weather spaired us. It was "supposed" to be A LOT nastier than it was.
I only had two bites all day. I missed a decent fish on a frog (I didn't wait to feel the fish before setting the hook and nearly stuck a Spro Bronze Eye right between my eyes) and caught a decent 3.42 lber on a white Jymsu floating Trik worm.
Had a decent day points wise though. I also had a goodtime fishing with Kevin Rake. I've known Kevin for a couple of years now but this is the first time we've fished together. I meant to bring my copy of the latest ABA magazine with me so he could autograph it for me (he's on the cover).
Just kidding Kevin.
FYI, I recently purchased a Jackall Giron swimbait and let me tell you...I like it even better than the Sebile. I didn't get bit on it but the action is incredible and it falls perfectly horizontal when you let it sink. This is the one I was throwing but I'm definitely going to buy some more of them...

We have a LOOONNNNNGGGGG lay off between tournaments now (next tournament is on Hartwell 7/11) but I'll probably fish some local stuff to pass the time. The Kyle Page is the next one on my list.
