Is crappie fishing in Santee a thing of the past? I called a couple of landings (Bells and Blacks) Friday and they didn't have much enthusiasm to report.

have read a couple articles this year about the demise of the crappie fishing in santee hopefully with the lakes full again there will be a good spawn and as in hartwell and jocassee maybe the grass will hide enough of the fry so that we can have something to look forward to in the next couple years
