What is Santee looking like? A lake. Water level? Depends on where you are (0-75feet) Is it muddy? If you fire off the big mota in 2 feet of water and go round and round at about 4000 RPM's it will be. Are the bass starting to bed? Yet to be determined.
There is one in every crowd.
I hope I get to go, it should be fun. If not, good luck this weekend.

I was there a week ago. The main lake was muddy; the water level is high (over 75 ft). I didn't fish, but those fishing around my dock/shoreline and the adjacent area had no luck (Wyboo area).

Lake levels are full. Could not see bedding fish on upper lake last weekend because of water being muddy. Lower lake is not as bad, just have to move slow. Good luck....
