I haven't been on marion in November for a couple years, but when I lived close by, we cleaned up. The usual pattern was to look for the "balls" of shad in the creeks, stay near by, and wait for the attack. Had most success with the shallow running shad rap and crome-blue rattle trap. With some cold nights, things will improve. When the fish were not visibly hitting the shad schools, we would put the trolling motor on low and make random casts to the left and right. I can refer you to a guide who has fished the lake for 30 years and has won some big-time tournaments on the lake in the past five year. Just send me a private message, and I will hook you up.
