Bite has been slow at Monticello for me. I have tried diffirent things and thinkging of what might work to catch some of the Largmouth or smallmouth bass but to no pervail. I have been out with a couple of the youth bass anglers trying to help them but have had no luck. Any help would be greatly be appreciated.

Had a small tourament two weeks ago. only took 10lbs to win .Ihad 3 fish that went 7lb+ shoulnd have stayed on the rocks fishing the rocks between the two ramps on 215 shakey head1/4oz wat/red worm . most all fish in tourament where caught on worms . one boat had two on top water. had to back of the rocks fishing 10 to 20 ft. good luck :thumbs_up:

Monty is like pullin teeth. I haven't been able to do anything there. But know there are some BIG fish in there. will be up there this weekend doin a lot of fishin....not sure how much catchin. But will pass any info on....

Back for one of the best days you could ask for in the middle of the summer....Weather wise that is...80 and breeze. Fished out club tx today. Tough day on Monty as expected...One keeper for me. Winning weight was 8lbs and was no limits caught. Fished points upper end of the lake and had a few good hits in 15-25 feet...c-rig. Good Luck to ones fishing the TX next week.

Yes we are still fishing every Thursday from 5:30 to 10:00
