Okay now I wil share...a guy in our club, right around the new year, caught a smallie that went a little over 6lbs! I saw pics, and it is a beast. She was released, so go catch her. Probably a lake record.
Club tournament today, 12 lbs won it. Lots of guys with 2 fish. I was one of them. One smallie weighed. The guy that won said he caught 'about 30' fish today on a tough rainy, cold day. He said he was burning spinnerbaits and crankbaits. BF today was a 4 something. I found them yesterday with the low water but today it was windy and colder, and the water was way up. My fish wouldnt bite or were gone. Oh well. Time for beer.

I like the lake, just the conditions werent right for what I was trying to do. Murray will be fun.

There is a lot better fishing closer than that lake.
Progressive big fish will fall at Murray.

dude if u dont like monticello, something is wrong that lake is great fishery , imo , anyway :thumbs_up:

DUDE I know. Monti has SICK potential. I am pretty proud of everyone in our club, the conditions sucked ass and still...most everyone caught fish. :thumbs_up:
