Planning a couple day trip to Murray 1st of Oct. Since I dont get to go there but 1st a year now I was hoping I could get a few good pointers from our members on where to fish and what pattern the bass usually were in during beginning of Oct.
help a Brother out!

it seems like this lake has been going down hill for the last few years. lake murray seniors club had a tournament last thursday it only took 12lb to win 4lb to get money. these are old farts have fish the lake for years. look at some of the other post the ABA tournament in may only took 14lbs to win . not a lot of talk going on . i have a tournament thursday. let you know then . bait and schooling going on at the big gap but they can make you a hero or zero.

On the other hand........it took almost 22lb to win a law enforcement tournament last wednesday. 19.5 for 3rd. The lake has went down from its glory days, but it still has its times to shine.

it took 17lb to win today. i took 2nd with 12lb and big fish 6.53 all i did was junk fish . i flip and docks all day in buffalo creek . all on worms. good luck. :thumbs_up:

I fished Shull Island to the dam and didnt find anything worth talking about...a few keepers thats it. Didnt see much schooling at all..Water temp was in the low 80's...wont be too long til they are right though!
