There is quite a bit of what I call gator grass (shoreline grass) this year. There are many coves and cuts that are holding this grass. However, I do not believe the fish down the lake relate to this grass at all. I had 16.78lbs in a tournament 2 weeks ago, and none were caught anywhere close to the shoreline. The bass down the lake are primarily bait related. You find the bait, you find the fish. You can find fish related to cover, but the bait better be there! Good luck!
