Went down to Greenwood and fished Russel the ONCE mighty lake with the OLDTIMER and MAN is it getting hot. We caught fish each day and the water temps were 80F +/-

Most were ITTY BITTY spots.... actually some of the smallest spots I ever saw but they were all eating shad ... and lots of shad... fished mostly f4" dead ringers and they didn't ring no bells.

I was fishing without my boat... without my tackle and not much wiggle room... fishing yesterdays pattern never works.

93F driving home tonight.. 86 outside now in Cool Green Asheville..

Cicadas buzzing outside but its about to come to an end for another 17 years.

May the folks all weigh in 15+ pounds this Fri and Sat night... HUMMMM???

I give up until the weather cooooools off .. and the price of fuel drops...
