Put in @ Harpers Ferry about 7:30....ran down to Cooter Creek. Fished some of the deep stuff we did so good on last year about now....NADA. Got first fish {2# Spot} on DD78 pointer off a steep bank about 10am....right @ noon got a good LM on a rocky Shallow point w/ a C-riigged Softy GP Trick worm...missed several more bites, thought they were small spots....fished on to the end and tryed that point again, this time w/ a 4" Zoom double Ringer on my C-rig got another good 2# LM....throwed the little 1/4oz Brown Bass stalker JnP and got a LM over 3#....went back to the C-rig got another good "Spot"....fished it a while longer never got a bite we could stick. Moved on up to a Timber spot never got any more in the boat. Quit @ 4:00pm... Water was dingy and 49 mostly, did find some 51 but it suprised me just how shallow these fish were....no idea where the "knot-heads" were hiding but I'll bet they'll show-up soon enough!!! Just about got that creek "Un-Cootered" LOL CYA

Un Cootered!! :twisted: Was you fishing my point! Hate to hear that there are spots in there. It wasn't like that not long ago. Glad you did well in there. Really a good winter/ spring spot. Those fish are pretty reliable. Used to be you could set your watch by those fish. I am trying to get boat squared away after a year of neglect. Hopefully I will hit the water on Saturday - momma willing and creek don't rise

Yeah your "point" the one I showed you w/ the Rock Spine on it....If 390{JS} would'a been there he'd really wore them out....it HURTS me to fish a C-Rig that S.L.O.W....LOL

If I really HATED the C-Rig as bad as I claim{just really gets a good rise out of SO MANY} would I have ordered a new Falcon Cara just for it???? My TD is falling apart. C-rig is good for COLD Fish and bad wind...CYA
