Put in @ Harpers Ferry about 7 something....29 deg. Brrrrrrrrrrr Went south to Cooter Creek. Got 1st fish about 9:30 on a 78 pointer. next fish about noon on a DS....Gave up on this side ran over to Van creek area, noticed the sea gull hunters have put out 4 or 5 rows of decoys at least a mile long....WTF!!!!!! White bouys in a row{5 or 6 rows I think} for at least a mile....every so often they'll be a red one.....purtty fun to zig-zag thru them WOT!!!!...anyways tried some dingy water w/ wood/rocks ect...Nada. Ran into a boat dock, caught 1 on a JnP....next dock missed one, next dock Bryan missed 3 bites before he got it...nice 2# LM...Good news bad news.... Good News, we got THE pattern Finess GP JnP in the shady spot on float'n boat docks....THe Bad News they ain't but 3 docks like that in the lake....LOL We gave up @ 4....WT 49 +/- Very clear to slightly dingy about 0.8 ft low CYA

All those bouys sound like a college row team course.. I know when the Olympics were in Atlanta they built a course down there in Van Creek.....Sounds like you and the kid had a pretty good day...... I like it when a dad takes his kid fishing...lol....... I know you tow had a great time... tightlines... retiredguy

I got to get back on the good fish...I've got several "spots" in RR that I've let rest since Nov. 'bout time to got go get back on them.

Unless we get a lot of rain and the lake gets 3+ foot overfull we'll have nothing to fish on the bank.....again. I like when the weeds is in the water...oh well fish what you got!! LOL CYA

good job jojo, just think if they develope russell, you'll have more then 3 docks to fish...lol. i hope we never have to fish docks on russell tho.

Amen 520....if I need to fish docks I can go to Sucession or Hurtwell....heck anywhere other than Russell. I just wish we had more shallow cover...>CYA
