Is it in operation yet? Haven't been there since last June and it looked like they had the land cleared and some of the slabs in.

I hear the ramps are there, but still a small parking lot. They have planted alot of grass where the grading was done also. I hear Elberton said they were short on funds and could not finish it yet!!!!!!!

OUCH!!! Big Semi-Pro BFL there tomorrow!!!!....I thought that project was paid for w/ PCB money???

I thought it would be done but I ain't been over there since Nov '09...

Russells mega ramp was paid from Sonny Perdues go fish project. Not from PCB money. I know when the parking lot was graded the state graded it too low. Dont know if it done yet or not. I stay on the lower end of the lake mostly.

...maybe it was the one on Hartwell w/ the PCB moneys...sure takes them a long time to do stuff...{SC, GA & COE}....they'd never make it in the real world where your pay is based on what you get done....Cement has been poured since '09....

My buddy camps at that park alot, as a matter of fact he is there right now and he said the ramps are there, but parking lot is still tiny. Grass planted on one side where grading was done, and bull dozers just sittin there on other side! He said the park honchos told him about Elberton suppose to pay for parking! I'm just going by what he told me. They may have told him false info. MAYBE it will get done in our lifetime!!!!!!! HAHAHAHA
