The 2 that broke me off in the trees came on the little george also and I was throwing it on 12lb test. I should have retied but you know haw that goes .

Well yes the intimidator was at breakfast...and when he didn't eat...ya know he got the feelin' and fishin' alone!!!! geeze... :wish I woulda known too..woulda had 25 lbs together
Anyway..glad it was JoJo-a good 'ol forums member..

Thanks to Z..he wrote everyting down and waited at the ramp for latecomers..(your ok Z and thanks for the weigh-in bag..) and 520, thanks for the scales and taking care of weigh-in..well done!

I went south of the 72 bridge and hit pockets...32-40' WT 51-53. First fish came at 8:25 and by 8:40 had a limit..was near standing timber and all on FishStalker spoons, 1/2 ounce with red eye..I had changed the hooks and using #4 bleeding gamakatsu. After the 4.9 fish, had another hooked that was much bigger...(within 2 minutes of putting the 4.9 in the livewell)..had her up almost to the boat and back down again..nothing I could do..she was a HOG..had to be 8 or more...got her back up again and the next run she dogged me down to the trees and that was it!
Got a few later on drop shot with finese worms..
All I needed was my Moonville Partner BRYAN!!!!..he'd a been eatin' steak this week!

Glad to be out on the water again and look forward to the next forums or ad-hoc.
