We had 11 boats competing for 2 places and big fish. They brought 43 fish to the scales for a total weight of 72.90 pounds. We had 6 teams weigh in their 5 fsih limit. The best weight of 10.58 and the big fish of 3.99 ended up holding out for top honors. Thanks to all that came out and competed. See ya at the next one on Murray.

Thursday - C & D shift -- 22 fish -- 38.91 pounds, Best weight 10.58 & B.F. 3.99
Saturday - Days shift -- 10 fish -- 15.83 pounds, Best weight 8.09

The fish are there and it seems you better be in the right spot in the first couple of hours or it is going to be a very long day. Hell it's a long day even if you have some fish in the boat.

We caught some fish on buzzbait and even saw the guys catch the big fish on a buzzbait.

Some fish came on bubble gum floating worms, bubble gum "softy" fluke and CR finese worms out on the points later in the day. Even caught a few on the floating worm rigged wacky stile. Plus the "CB Hawg" jell may have helped a little, that stuff will stay on no matter how hard you try and throw it off.

Nope don't think I will ever get the Name of One Lake wonder. May get hung with "Wonder How" they came in "First" and EYEs would have to say "LUCK".

The Big Guy was riding with me all day and started off early that morning when I left the house. Strange sometimes how things happen.

We had a deer run out in front of the truck that morning before we got into town on hwy 184 and the bumper on the drivers side caught her pretty hard. When we got the truck stopped we didn't see her and looking at the front of the truck we couldn't tell it had done any thing. A small crack in the plastic bumper and some deer hair, yep the Big Guy had to be riding with us. Cause there for a moment it looked just like she was going to be in the center of the grill. Sorry for her, she didn't make it, she was not far off the road laying just out a few yards from where we hit her.
So yep I think I was real "Lucky" this week.
