FIshed from 1100-1600 today and caught NOTHING. Water is low, muddy and cold. 48-49 degrees is what I saw. Lots of activity 20-30 feet down, not sre if they were stripers. Left the spoons at home.

Thanks for the info. Somebody told me the hybrids were schooling, did not know there were hybrids in Wateree. :shock:

looking at the birds diving, I bet they were. They are either white bass, white perch or hybrids....I have a picture somewhere. We have got into them pretty good out there before, Ive caught them a little over 2 lbs, but most are pretty small. They are delicious though! As for the largemouth....I can tell you that they didnt want my jig pitched into the ends of main lake docks and fished slowly. :-?

I was there on Tuesday. Managed to catch only two. Water is about 3 feet low, muddy from upper end to the lower end with less than 1 foot visability. The water is cold too. Nost of the day temp was 43-45. Did find some around 49 before leaving
