Yep what a tuff lake, for me anyways . Launched at 630AM and fished till 330PM with some missed bites and partner breaking a nice one under a dock. Water temps when launching was 74 and after we left it was about 77. We stayed in Beaver Creek back and middle most of the day then went up around June and called it a day after wards. Fish was missing top water bites threw Spook and buzzbaits with fish missing both. They'd just slap it. Partner broke off a 4+ # under a dock skipping Senko's . I fished with a jig all day black/blue and brown depending on the water color with trailer. We fished secondary points with rocks, docks (front and back), bridges, and laydowns. Not a single lick at most places. Wish I had more to report but the last 2 trips was just about the same, ending up with no BASS

Don't feel to bad. Fished the TRI_State open and donated to the cause. We had two 12 inchers both caught by 8:30 on a worm. Couldn't even get a top water bite at all. We spent the day from Wateree creek to Duchmans and on back down near Clearwater. Threw a Texas craw shooter jig with a green pumpkin craw trailer. We ended up with four bites -two keepers -two dinks. Saw lots of nice sacks come in but left before it was all over. Ron

Sorry to hear things didn't come together for ya RC. At least you got something in the boat but better luck the next time. I probably won't make another trip out their till Feb. 2010 so maybe that'll be a different bite by then. Good luck.
