Is it common to have water temps as high as they are this early in the summer?

It's been like this in the early 90's...I checked an old book I had made some notes in and there were some 90 degree water temp days back then...fishing was very good on Wateree back then...I can tell you this...if yr fishing over 8 ft deep Sat yr fishing too deep....some places have some fish in 4 ft...at 3:00pm in the afternoon so the water temp hasn't pushed a lot of them deep yet...usually around the end of July is when the deeper bite gets better...at least for me.

I moved to SC in 92; in the summer of 93 we had over 30 days where the air temp reached 100 ! I'll still take it over the cold.
