We had our Feb. tourney on Wateree out of Clear Water Cove Sat. 2-27-16 with 17 paid members and guest. there was 20 bass weighted at 49.50 lbs.
1st place 5@12.54 lbs.
2nd place 4@9.43 lbs.
3rd place 4@9.17 lbs.
BF was 4.5 lbs
I placed first with BF, water look good to me,not muddy, a little low, had color. I got two on a shad rap(one 3-lber), and three off A-rig( one 4.5).
Key was the three came off a point in 8-20ft of water. Fish looked like they were feeding off the point, but the hits came on the point, couldn't get a hit off the point. Hope this helps someone, go and let us know how you do. Going to Murray next month, and if anyone wants to know colors and what baits. PM me with some tips on Murray and I'll be glad to help. God bless all. :-D
