Read in the paper this morning about some 3500 acre planned development that some company has planned on wateree. Houses, docks, marinas, tennis courts, pool, and I'll bet lots of skiers and jet skis. Just thought I'd pass the info along for nyone who cares. RM

That suxs! I had planned on buying some property there in the future, the main reason was lack of major developement.

Wateree is just lke Greenwood in the summer; very crowded with pleasure boaters and jet skiers.

Is the develoment in Dutchmans creek. If so they have already started. I saw a plat of lots for sale that my cousin picked up from a realitor. As for the jet skis just 3 weeks ago I saw 2 running around lake wateree, they were wearing wet suits. I think when you get on a jet ski your brain goes numb. It never ends anymore.
