am planning a overnight trip to wateree in a couple weeks anyone know a good hotel that caters to fisherman that would maybe have a place to plug in a charger am i going to have to drive a good ways or is there someplace close any help would be greatly appreciated

There are several new motels located at the I-20 and hwy 521 interchange if you are planning on using the Clearwater ramp. I think there is a Hampton Inn and a best western. My preferance would be the Camden side and use Clearwater.
There is a Holiday Inn at hwy 1 ans hwy 34 in Lugoff. Several others located around the I-20 and hwy 601 interchange on the Lugoff side if you are putting in on that side.
If you want to go really cheap, there are some No-Tell Motels on hwy 1 near the city of Camden. Hope that helps

If you are military or retired military, you can get a cabin @ the shaw rec area right next to Clearwater. The cabins are nice! Shaw rec also has their own ramps, but IMO they suck.
