started at sun up, fished top water and buzzbaits on rocky points and banks up to and into mills creek. Was 2hrs with out a bite! Came back down fishing deeper with little N and 300 poe .. still no bites! Around 10 started draggin a lizard from 5 ft to 20 ft on points & humps still Zero?????? switched to small 5 in worm on light carolina rig 2nd cast in 12ft of water on a point hooked up a 5 lber, couple cast later got a 12iner. started fishin this rig along dark edges on flats along the main river below buster boyd bridge finely caught 8 fish all but the 5lber were less than 2 lb.
Loaded up at 1:30 turned on radio Panthers were leading thought well at less something I like is going right today.Strapped down the boat and head home turned on radio about 10 minutes later and the panthers were behind 21 to 7.....lol I gave up on making this a productive day.
Are all the fish in a transition period or am I just not doing something right. last 4 times out Ive caught a few but just seems to be hard work & junk fishing to get them.....nothing solid 4 me How about ya'll?
