arrived @lake around 8:45am , water temp around 43-45 deg @ buster boyd. air temp cold 22 deg....water clarity was not as muddy as thought would be considering all rain have gotten past couple mos, headed to steam plant water temp @ mouth of cove was around 53-56 deg water clarity around 2.5ft stained ,fished pg,sb,cb,jb, finally caught one on sb , 3.5lbs, headed toward back of cove water temp was 65-69deg, caught another on sb,3.5lbs, they were feedin on shad heavly, slight wind helped, caught a white perch on same bait, an seen couple of gars in there too, left at 3:30pm , 2 fish @7lbs, a tx was there , dont know who , looked like about 6-8 boats in it , asked what winnin weight was , commented on 15lbs an some change won that tx, fair day , nice to be on water , air temp warmed up to 45deg, co workers @ work caught a few too, they had around 7lbs for one boat, and other had around 12lbs
