had to get my fishin fix on yesterday......very nice day , warm, arrived @ lake around 9am, think was a big tx goin on there headed toward warmer water as last week , fish werent as active as last week, talked to several people in a tx, an said it was very tough , brought a freind with me an his kid , so hopefully the kid could experience some fish catchin, landed a small 1.5lber on schoolin shad, within in half hr , then stuck a white perch, went a few HRS without a bite, then found a transition area creek water temps not quite as warm to where i was b-4 but found shad in there around the areas i was targeting, i put lures on fer kid that they were feedin on an he ended on catchin another one 2.5lbs, finshed up day in couple more hrs, great day to be on water, got to see kid have fun catchin fish.....lures what worked today fer us were sb, cb....water is still stained 2-3` visability water temps 59-65 deg depth fish were caught in were 2'-8', kid caught all the fish except fer whit perch fer me , fell sorry fer kids dad, cause now his daddy gonna have to deal with kid wantin him to now buy a bass boat !
