I've been meaning to post up but work sent me off so I'm finally getting back to this. Water temps was 88 when launching and when coming back it was 91. Caught a early limit under 49 bridge and culled ounces. They bit shakey heads and CR's. Motored up to NC and fished laydowns culled all my 1+ # with 2+ #. By 1 PM we were culling 2+ # with 3+ #'rs. All the bigger fishes came off jigs at laydowns. Ended the day with 16+ #. Caught about 18 fishes with 4 being short and the other 14 were all keepers. As hot as the water was I was surprised most of our fishes bit in 1 - 3 ft. water with 90+ water temps. They all was hooked good with the hooks buried deep. Packed (3) 20 # bags of ice with some Rejuvinate which helped keep all the fishes alive for weigh in. It was a wonderful day and my personal best on Wylie.
