Had a horrible night. first time in water since new powerhead (dealer put 2 hours on it already). went to put her on pad and motor is still in safe mode. so just idled near the ramp and put trolling motor down. Wasnt a happy camper and affected my fishing...lol....had good bites, was either setting hook too hard (had several break offs) or maybe not setting hook hard enough (lost several good fish at the boat). this time fish were still on rock but got bit under every overhanging tree/bush. Same bait..tx rig speed craw both green pumpkin and june bug. My primary night fishing set up...had 2 in live well, measured one at the ramp and shrunk and didnt want to chance it, so the one i weighed came in for 2.14. My partner did his best, but didnt get any bites.
