My buddy and I decided to get out of the shop so we went to Wylie today. Put in at Buster Boyd about 0900 and left about 3:00. Water was still very clear in the main lake but found some water with a little color at the back of Crowders and up Southfork. Water temp went from 55 to 70 degrees with the warmest water up Southfork. I fished a S/B and T/R worm while my buddy tried a S/B, Jerk bait, white grub, T/R worm, and crank baits. I caught 2 decent 14/15 inch keepers but the buddy got skunked, and I let him run the trolling motor half the day too........LOL. I caught one on a S/B and one on a green pumkin lizard. Wind was annoying at times and I got a decent sunburn........LOL. Still tough for us to catch fish at Wylie for some reason. The water temp was there, had a little color and we threw the boat at them but not much to show for it. Talked to several guys and they all were getting skunked too to it wasn't just us. RM

yeah, you have to stay either right or left going into the cove.....i will be off next sat and sun.....i start workin 3 to 930pm as of tues.....so, most any mornin i should be able to go.......bob
