Hey guys, the word on that new landing is that the county made them build it to or else they would not get the funding to start the dredging project. What sucks is they did just enough to get by and thats all. From what I hear there are no plans to build a dock, and there isnt any lights either. It costs 8 bucks to launch a powered watercraft just like the original saluda landing. So basically it sounds like they dont want people there. Pay the same price at the original landing and you have lights, a dock, and a bait shop/tackle shop with tournaments and such. So thats whats up. I thought this was interesting so I decided to pass it on. And if any of you guys has gotten out on saluda lately post some reports. Soft plastic bite is good for me but I cant buy a bite with a plug.

Last one was around 15lbs if I remember right. Also a good bit of 5-7lbers coming out. If anyone is looking for a partner for the saturday night one let me know. I dont really have any good dependable fishing buddies...the type that will only go if they are stuck at home with nothing to do.

This past Thursday night it took a little over 8lbs to win. 2nd place way 6.96lbs and third was 6.3lbs. We had 18 boats total this past Thursday. Big fish was a little over 5lbs also.
