Went right after the cold front passed through on Wed and Thurs. Didn't expect to catch anything, and I got what I expected....2 little guys. But, I had never fished the lake before and wanted to go check it out. Lake is on Hwy 9, between Lockhart and JOnesville. Big Lake (Looks about 70 - 80 acres) but shallow...deepest water I found was about 15 feet. Lots of folks crappie fishing.

Is it still full of vegatation and stuff? Last time I was there it was really tough to fish due to snagging weeds of all sorts. RM

How do you get to it from Spartanburg? Never heard or fished it before but would like to check it out sometimes. What about ramp, is it a faily decent ramp to load and unload. Any fees, private or public lake? Thanks ahead.

is this the lake where that crazy women drawned her kids a few years back?
and trollin motor only? does that mean you have to take the prop off the big motor or just not crank her up?
