Lick and I got there about 6:30 am. Fished until 10:30. Did not get a good bite...flat skunked

Guys on the banks were catching a few small catfish on miniature marshmellows and blood bait.

Had a visit from the SCDNR...what did you expect, it's 1 July and the day you need a new liscense. Two guys fishing on the dock did not have a liscense. They just made they quit fishing...no fines or anything. Expect they will be checking liscense heavily for the next few days.

I went over to a buddies in Jonesville today. On the way back home I rode down to see the Jonesvile reservoir. Looked OK but sort of small. The sign said fishing allowed only on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. Just thought I'd post that for anyone who might want to give it a try. I'll probably give it a shot one day. RM
