Went to lake Thickety for the first time in many years this morning. Got there before sunrise and stayed til about 9:45 when it got hot. Found fish bunched up in one place and caught 5 nice keepers on a worm and 3 nice keepers on a crank bait. All came from one small area. All were about 1 lb maybe a couple 1 1/2 lb but no dinks. Threw top water but never got a swirl at it, surprized me too. I left there still catching fish to look around and find bigger fish or more bunched up fish. I rode all over the lake for about 2 hrs and didn't get another bite that I know of. Water was clear and 88 degrees. I was the only one on the water. Pretty nice trip and a really enjoyable morning. Hope to do it again soon. RM
