Anybody been to Fishing Creek lately? Just checking to see if the ramp ( Fishing Creek Access Area) off Hwy 21 is still open, and if it is safe to run upriver to the Hwy 9 ( Lancaster Hwy) bridge? I know about the huge flat I have to cross near the ramp, but my guess is that thing looks like a big island now...

lake was at full pool when we were hter 2 weeks ago. They pulled a little water first thing but not too much. You can always check here I hope this helps.

The fishing was slow all came on plastics by the damn.

I think it is the only lake on the chain that is almost still at full pool for some reason. The lake was ready to turn over when we were there so it should be just about right.

Yeah...I went to that water level site and I thought that was weird too...What was the water clarity like there? Do you think I will have to go up river to find slightly stained water?

You will have to go up river to find some stained water. It is pretty clear in the lower lake.
