I bought a permit last year and fished it twice. Being $65 to do that, this year I doubt I'll both with it.
Last I was over was a few weeks back but I didn't fish, I just looked at the water level on my way back to Chesnee to see a friend.

Been good for me. Went Jan.12th caught 13 me and my son in about 10 foot of water on worms and jigs. Two of them were around 2 lbs. We went few times in Dec. and did good. Had one seven pound. Water about 48 and full pool. I'm ready to go back if weather warms a little.

Got a report from cousin Joe, they was out last week 07/17/08. 5PM - 11PM. Managed 8+ keepers biggest going 6+ #. CR and JnP, 3ft. - 10ft. Rocks, brush, and laydowns. That's all the details I know. If you get out post us a report, thanks.
