Was fishing for stripers at Saluda river and caught 2 hugh 28inch snake heads.

What should I do? Call DNR or take it home and eat it?

I will try to get pictures. Fish is at my grandpas house who caught the fish. He told me he was going to eat it lol...

Are you sure they are not Bowfin ... aka Mudfish / Grinnel / Cypress Trout / Lawyer / Dogfish?????? Just some of the common names I've heard them called over the years. :mrgreen:

The WORLD RECORD Bowfin was caught in a small lake/pond in Florence County, SC just as FYI. :thumbs_up:
